What is MCA Scar Treatment / Dry Needling ?

Firstly, its important to state that this is not a facial nor a microneedling facial. 

It is a targeted and effective treatment for problem areas of scarring. 

MCA - Dry needling scar treatment is carried out with the use of a specialist medical tattooing machine, using a dry needle technique (no pigment/colour used). 

The process causes minute punctures, which create channels that trigger the body to produce collagen, melanin and elastin in order to fill the wounds – therefore promoting further healing. It is a very effective treatment to improve the texture, tone and improve appearance of scar tissue. 

While this isn’t a scar removal treatment (no such thing exists unfortunately), it can improve the look, feel, firmness and appearance of scars considerably.

How does  Scar treatment work?

• Collagen, Melanin and Elastin are produced leading to new tissue growth and gentle healing
• Bumpy and knotted scars start to become smoother
• Discoloured scars can start to re-pigment naturally and blend into the surrounding skin more
