Let me just tell you a little bit about me and why I love permanent make up and cosmetic tattooing.

My creativity stems from a passion for painting and drawing, especially people and the face. I studied Fine Art at college and Make Up for the Performing Arts at The London College of Fashion.

I love portraiture and It goes hand in hand with cosmetic tattooing as it increases my knowledge of the face. I love natural looking make up.  I spend hours researching and learning all the most up-to-date trends and techniques so that my skills are current and precise. I focus on permanent make which can be maintained easily over the years.  I love soft machine hairstroke eyebrows which dont damage the skin the way that microblading does. This is why i dont microblade anymore. I know better methods. 

As well as digital brows, microblading, lip blush and permanent eyeliner,  I am also trained in a variety of skin treatments. 

I just love what I do, and feel so lucky that I can use my artistic talents to give people more confidence in their looks. My clinic is private and small and allows me to get to know my clients and give them the time out they deserve.

Derma Design is a small and private skin clinic in the heart of Lichfield. We specialising in Semi Permanent Make-Up, Micro-pigmentation and luxury skin treatments. 

Our Lichfield Clinic

The clinic is a former stores building behind the main house. The house used to be Beacon Stores on Beacon Street and the property dates back hundreds of years. We have worked hard converting the building into a comfortable professional clinic. The entrance is private so not to draw attention and there is parking on site. Because we are small, we can provide the highest level of care and attention to all our customers.  The service is always tailored to each client as we are all unique.

Microshading not Microblading.

Microshading  produces the ultimate hair stroke brows with minimal trauma. The technique uses an extremely fine blade which is designed to prick rather than slice the skin. Derma Design is the only semi-permanent make up salon in Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield to offer this type of microblading using this type of technique. 

Digital Machine brows semi permanent make up

Microblading is not suitable for everyone. Because of this, we also can offer you  digital machine brows which is more like a conventional tattoo but with some key differences. The pigments are designed to be less permanent than regular tattooing and we don't go as deep. Cosmetic tattooing and permanent make up has advanced in the last few decades with new techniques offering the customer a natural or bolder ombre look. Machine Brows allows us to offer amazing brows to customers with oily skin which is often difficult to micro blade. We offer all the latest eyebrow tattooing  styles and techniques such as Ombre or Powder combination and 3d hair stroke.  Katy is the only permament make up artist in the area which is trained in hyper real machine hairstrokes. 

Non Laser tattoo Removal

We also are trained in tattoo removal. LI-ft is Non laser tattoo removal and is very effective as it works on all colours. It is, for most,  pain free.

The clinic is a little haven of calm in a garden setting. It even has a wood burning stove in the waiting area for those chilly winter days. It's a lovely place to get away from the daily grind and invest in yourself.
